CCS University BA Economics Honours (Hons)

Now, Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Honours) also available in Chaudhary Charan Singh Meerut University campus as three years UG Course (Or Bachelor degree).

Instead of going to Delhi University for study B.A. Honours (Economics), students have the option to apply for admission on total forty seats in Meerut university campus.

Eligibility

CCS University BA Economics Honours (Hons)
 After 12th, or in other words, you have to clear Intermediate (UP Board) or 12th with sixty percent (60%) marks.

Although, Mathematics in 12th is not must, but a cup of coffee with cream waiting for the students with Mathematics, as they will prefer for admission. Doesn’t mean non-mathematics students have not chance, of-course they have.

Fee
As, the CCS University fee structure 2019, Ch. Charan Singh Meerut University BA Economics (Honours) fee is 30,000 (Thirty Thousand) annual.
 
CCS University BA Economics syllabus

Just like other graduation courses, students have to study for three years. The course is divided into six semesters. The examinations of every semester will be every six months.

There will be four papers in the first and second semester, while five paper in the third and fourth semester. And, students have to work extra hard because of six papers in fifth and six semesters.

CCS University BA Economics (Honours) course design with internship and industrial visit.

To make the course more practical and knowledgeable, here are three months internship in 5th semester and three months industrial visit in the 6th semester.

In plan Bachelor of Arts, you study common subject, while the honors design with a particular subject (as student choice) specialization and paper(s) in final year.

BA Economics subjects vs Honours subjects 

Suppose,you pursuing B.A or Bachelor of Arts, you must have to study 5 (or around five) subjects, which considering as BA economics subjects.

While, on the other hand your pursues B. A (Hons), then he would be specialized in only one subject like Political Science, Statistics, Environmental Studies or English.

Conclusion


'Hons' is short word for 'Honours' degree. The 'Hons' represents study typically over three years full time and often contains a substantial project or dissertation during the final year(in third year in India) of study.
